This beautiful rangoli is done by Ms.Ezhil Naresh of Kolathur, Chennai. She has done at her door step on the account of Ayudha poojai. Ayutha pooja is celebrated in Tamilnadu with fervour and gaiety. The instruments that play a key role in workplace are washed and applied sandal, vermilion and turmeric along with banana saplings to show a gratitude and a thanksgiving to the work which provides the three basic needs of a man.
It’s a great sight to see vehicles right from two wheeler to four wheeler, irrespective of the size are decorated with sandalwood paste and vermilion, while the banana saplings get along the sides.
