The below kolam has a small square shape and extended to form a design. Minimal amount of red colour is added to the kolam to enhance the beauty of the kolam. You can add colours to it too 🙂 A maa thoranam (mango leaves thoran-border) is drawn near to the doorstep and as borders are drawn to enclose the kolam.

Finger technique is used in this kolam. Lines are first drawn and with index finger or buds you can make impressions to create a textured design on the line. It will look beautiful and will look grand. You can add colour powder and do the finger technique to beautification.
